About Sundayable
Sundayable is a growth agency for small businesses. We make the content, the ads, the sales outreach and the automation that get them there, and nothing goes out until the owner says yes.
Owners don’t hire us for a set number of posts. They hire a business partner: someone who understands how their business makes money and brings the idea before anyone asks for it. Many of them came to us after an agency that waited for instructions and sent a report at the end of the month.
We hire the same way we work. We look for the part AI can’t do, and expect you to use AI for the rest. Ask us anything, any time. What we try not to do is stop at “it can’t be done.” If one way doesn’t work, we come back with the one that might. We’re a small team, so decisions happen close to the work, everyone’s work is seen, and nobody gets stuck alone.
About the role
AI can make a reel in a few minutes. It can’t tell whether the reel is good, or whether it still feels like the business. That judgment is what we’re hiring for.
You’ll make reels, plus the visuals our posts are built from, for clinics, wellness studios, shops and local food brands, and for Sundayable’s own Instagram, @hire.sunday. We’re taking on two people, and the work is fully remote.
There are no set shifts, and most weeks run 10 to 20 hours. You and our creative lead agree how many reels you’re taking on each month, you make them when it suits you, and we pay for the hours you log. You don’t need to be on camera.
How we work
- We look at everything the way a customer would first. Would someone scrolling stop for this?
- We share rough versions early. It’s easier to shape an idea together than to describe it.
- We start from what’s real and keep as much of it as we can. If something starts to feel artificial, we find another way, even when it’s close.
- References help us understand why something works. What we make is always our own.
- Every client should look like themselves, so we talk about their business the way the owner does.
- We keep asking “can we make this better?”, starting with our own work.
- When something lands, we celebrate it together, and it becomes the new standard for the whole team.
What you’ll do
- Make reels with AI video and image tools. We use Higgsfield, among others, and we pay for the tools you use on our work.
- Start from something real, like a product shot or a frame of real footage, so faces and products stay consistent from one piece to the next.
- Keep every product true to life. It follows the real photos and footage, down to the shape, the colour and the label.
- Choose the right tool for each piece. When AI isn’t working, a real photo or a clean graphic often is.
- Finish each piece by hand, from the edit to the captions, in whatever editor you like.
- Keep prompts and source files organized, so a look that worked can be made again.
Apply if any of this is you
- You’re the first in your circle to try the new app, and the one who sends everyone else the link.
- You like making other people look good, and you’re not fussed about whose name is on it.
- You can’t walk past a problem. You’ve fixed something that wasn’t yours to fix.
- You take something complicated and hand it back simple.
- When something isn’t working, you turn up with another way to get there, not just the news that it’s broken.
- You’ve made something nobody asked for, just to see if it would work.
- You keep a folder of work you saved because it looked good, and you can say what made it good.
- You rewatch your own work and spot the cut you’d change.
- You’d rather hear what’s wrong with it today than find out about it next month.
One of these is enough. We can teach the rest.
What you’ll need
- Real AI proficiency. This is the big one: you already make video with AI, and you can walk us through what the AI did and what you added.
- You’re comfortable working in English.
- Your own computer and a reliable internet connection.
Bonus points
- You’ve made Reels that actually worked, like an account you grew or a video that took off and sold something. If you have the numbers, put them on your page.
- UGC style ads you’ve made for a real brand
- Motion graphics or design skills, and a good ear for music
How to apply
Send us one page: a single web page with the videos you’ve made, and nothing else. No resume needed. If you want to say what you used and what you did by hand, put it on the page.
Email the link to careers@sundayable.com with “AI content creator” in the subject line.
The paid trial
If it looks like a fit, we start with a paid trial. We send you a brief, real product photos and actual footage from a business we work with, and you make one reel from them in a week. The product in your reel follows the actual footage.
The trial pays $100 CAD, whether or not we go further. Use the tools you already have. Once it’s paid, the reel is ours to use, and it only goes out if the business approves it. After that, it’s yours to show in your portfolio.
We’d love to see what you make.
