Med spa marketing for a business that lives on coming back.
Sundayable runs marketing for med spas and aesthetic clinics, $1,000 CAD a month for Organic Growth. Aesthetics is a repeat business dressed as a first-visit business. We run the profile, the reviews and the treatment pages every week.
Search takes about 90 days to move. The rebooking flow is a separate Automation build, running in about two weeks.
Med spa marketing runs $1,000 CAD a month done-for-you on Organic Growth, against roughly $2,500 and up at an aesthetics agency before ad spend. Three things get worked on: a Google Business Profile with every treatment listed separately, reviews requested and answered, and a rebooking message timed to the interval your clinic sets. In the US, “med spa near me” is searched 110,000 times a month and a click costs $5.27.
What are med spa patients searching for?
Treatment plus location, almost never a clinic name. US monthly volume and the going Google Ads rate, pulled from Google Ads in August 2026.
| What the patient types | Searches / month | Cost per ad click | Ad competition |
|---|---|---|---|
| med spa near me | 110,000 | $5.27 | Medium |
| lip filler near me | 74,000 | $7.53 | High |
| med spa marketing (what agencies bid on to reach you) | 390 | $77.22 | Low |
The bottom row is the one worth sitting with. A click to reach a patient costs $5.27. A click to reach you — a clinic owner shopping for marketing help — costs $77.22. That gap is the whole aesthetics marketing industry in one number, and it is why the pitch you get is usually louder than the work.
Why do med spas lose patients they already had?
Because every treatment you sell wears off on its own schedule, and nobody sent the message. A clinic can spend $5 a click acquiring a patient and then lose them to silence a few months later. Acquisition gets the budget; the calendar gets nothing.
The second leak is treatment pages. Patients search “lip filler”, not “injectables”, and a site with one page called Services cannot answer either. One page per treatment, in the words patients type, with the price range if you are willing to publish it.
The third is that aesthetic advertising is regulated and the rules differ by province and state — what you may show, what counts as a medical claim, and whether a before-and-after is allowed at all. We write to the conservative version and you approve every post before it exists publicly.
What does a med spa marketing service run each month?
List every treatment separately
On the profile and on the site. A clinic listed only as “medical spa” competes for one search term; a clinic with tox, filler, laser, facials and microneedling as their own entries competes for all of them.
Ask after the appointment, reply to every review
The request goes out through a link your front desk can text. Every review gets a reply drafted for you, and the difficult ones get a careful answer rather than a template.
Time the rebooking to the treatment
You set the interval for each treatment and each package — that is a clinical call, not a marketing one. We build the calendar around what you tell us, and it runs without anybody remembering. That build is the Automation line, $1,500 to build and $500 a month after it.
Post what you are allowed to post
Aftercare, the room, the devices, the staff, the answer to a question people ask at the desk. Cut by our team, captioned, sent for approval. Nothing publishes without your yes.
What does med spa marketing cost?
Organic Growth is $1,000 a month: the website built, hosted and kept edited, our team making the work by hand, your brand guidelines set, and local SEO, the profile and review replies run for you, with a person on your Slack channel. Ads are a separate line at $1,000, and rebooking flows and lead follow-up are Automation at $1,500 to build.
Ad spend is separate and stays in your account. If your rebooking list is the thing that is broken, say so on the call — that is usually an Automation build rather than a content problem, and it is worth more than a bigger ad budget.
How much should a med spa spend on marketing?
New clinics commonly run higher than established ones, and the split matters more than the total. Finish the free channels — profile, reviews, treatment pages — before paid starts, because ads pointing at a thin page pay full price for traffic that bounces.
Can you post before-and-after photos?
Only with written consent, and only where the rules where you practise allow it. Plenty of clinics book well without a single one, because what convinces a nervous first-timer is usually the aftercare explanation and the review from someone who was also nervous.
Do you run our Instagram?
We make the posts and reels and schedule them after your approval. You keep the account and the DMs, because the person answering a question about swelling should be someone in the clinic.
How fast do bookings move?
An Automation build is running in about two weeks, so the rebooking messages are going out inside the first month — what they bring back is a number you will see, not one we will predict. Organic Growth ships work you can look at from week one, and search rankings take about 90 days. Ads are the only line built to move a number inside the month. We say all of that up front rather than in month four.
We have two locations. Does that change the plan?
Yes. Each location needs its own profile, its own reviews and its own page, so multi-location clinics get quoted per location on the consultation. We work it out on the call.
